Rwanda will host the 10th International Advance Care Planning Conference from 22–24 September 2027, the first conference of its kind to be held in Rwanda and on the African continent.
We extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to the Hon. Minister of Health Sabin Nsanzimana, MD, PhD, for his support in making this possible and for helping advance Advance Care Planning as a meaningful reality in Rwanda.
This landmark gathering will bring together professionals, researchers, policymakers, patients, families, and advocates from across Africa and around the world to exchange knowledge, honour cultural perspectives, promote dignity in care, and strengthen health equity.
Through this important opportunity, we hope to advance person-centred care and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
