Professor Brian Kelly is a Professor of Psychiatry, Head of the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle, and Dean of the Joint Medical Program at the University of Newcastle and the University of New England. He has completed and led several mental-health-related research studies, including the NHMRC-funded Australian Rural Mental Health Study. Prof. Kelly is Co-Director of the Priority Research Centre for Brain and Mental Health Research, University of Newcastle, and Chair (Aspen Medical) of the Centre for Resources, Health, and Safety within the University of Newcastle’s Institute for Energy and Resources.
