Mrs. Mugwaneza is a Yoga Instructor and devotedly practices yoga in her everyday life. This way of living awakens true sense of self, improves concentration, allows body stretching through exercises and the control of the mind and body.
Her goal is to use her experience in palliative care to foster the mental and physical rehabilitation of terminally ill patients and their caregivers, who at times are more impacted by the weight of the illness. The yoga practice facilitates this goal and allows the beneficiaries to find comfort by learning key elements of their pain management.
