Zaninka Rachel is a qualified and experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in sociology and nursing. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2007 and has since then dedicated her career to helping patients with HIV/AIDS and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in both public sector hospitals and various NGOs such as Drew Care International, Alliance for Health Community, and Rwanda Military Hospital.

With a decade of experience in palliative care, Zaninka Rachel is a skilled trainer, particularly in pediatric care. She has played a pivotal role in setting up a Model Family Center and clinic care, providing day care from newborns to 18-year-olds at Kibagabaga Hospital. She supervises 30 health centers and 5 hospitals financed by Intrahealth/Mildmay to begin pediatric care and disclosure and work with a multidisciplinary team in Gasabo, Rulindo, and Nyagatare Districts.

Zaninka Rachel has a passion for working with children and young people as a pediatric care officer. Her expertise and commitment have earned her recognition as a trainer at ACREOL, where she continues to provide exceptional training and support to healthcare professionals in the field.
